Higgsfield is not a rip-off — it resells close to the provider rate. The win is choice and legibility: Veo 3.1 Lite is seven times cheaper per second than Seedance 2.5 for a clip of the same length, and you can see it before you press.

Q.01Is this cheaper than a subscription?+
Below your crossover, yes; above it, no. Forty clips a month at $0.05 a second is a few dollars, not fifty. What is always true is that you can see what a click cost, which a credit balance is designed to prevent.
Q.02Where do the prices come from?+
From the provider's own API, read on the date printed above. They are quoted per second for motion because that is how motion is billed, and flat per image for stills. The provider can reprice at any time, so the page carries the date it was read.
Q.03Do balances expire?+
No. A balance is money you put in, in dollars, and it stays there until a run spends it. There is no monthly allowance to lose and no team pool to be spent out from under you.
Q.04Why are the accepted lengths different per route?+
Because each provider only renders certain durations. Veo refuses five seconds; Hailuo 02 Pro is six seconds and nothing else; Wan takes anything from two to thirty. The button only offers lengths that will actually run.
Q.05What happens if I close the tab?+
The run keeps developing on the provider. When you come back, the print is either in your archive with its charge, or the charge has been released. Nothing is billed twice.
